Honoring a war tragedy: American Legion Post 6 to commemorate "Four Chaplains Day" on Feb. 3

PRESCOTT - On Feb. 3, 1943, the Dorchester, a transport ship assigned to the U.S. Army and part of a U.S. Navy convoy departing New York Harbor for Greenland with 904 troops aboard, was torpedoed by a German submarine in the Labrador Sea.
