Plea deal may be in works for man accused of killing his mom

CAMP VERDE - A settlement conference, possible change of plea, and a Donald hearing will be pushed back until Nov.7 for Nathaniel Leroy Stubbs, who was before Superior Court Judge Joseph Butner Monday over the three cases he faces, leading to the alleged murder of his mother, Pamela Shepard, at her Cottonwood home on Pioneer Way.
